These are a few of my favorite things....

I am not a huge promotor of companies, but once in awhile one comes along that I just can’t help but rave about. The company I’m a fan of is, Norwex USA.

If you know me, you know I’m a fan of Norwex products. In my opinion, they don’t compare to anything else on the market. I probably have been using Norwex products for approximately 8-10 years. My neighbor Lee in New York introduced me to this company, and since then my use and need for their products have grown.

I like to clean my house. Call me strange, but it gives me a significant degree of satisfaction when I know my house is neat, tidy, and clean. Of course, that is not always the case, but having products that make the process easier and more enjoyable is what Norwex products do for me.

I am not a '“sales” person, but I have no problem promoting something I believe in. That being said, on Tuesday, May 26, I would love for you to join me for a FaceBook Norwex Party hosted by a well informed Norwex representative, Laura Little. It’s the perfect way to learn more about Norwex and consider trying out some products for yourself.

I would like to share with you the products I can’t live without!

The basic Norwex mantra is to clean everything with water!

Here are my top 3 favorites Norwex items.

1) EnviroCloth® I use it for everything. It’s perfect for…

All surfaces! It cleans without chemicals and leaves no film or residue behind, even stainless steel appliances!! I walk around my house with an EnviroCloth in hand and wipe away dust and dirt like a champ!

Norwex Microfiber is proven to remove up to 99% of bacteria from surfaces— using only water.*

Our innovative plant- and enzyme-based products work to tackle tough jobs while leaving a little footprint.

We own our Research and Development and manufacturing facilities, so we oversee every step of the process—you can be confident that our products are safe and they work.

Norwex Microfiber and water alone cleans better than and significantly reduces toxic cleaning chemicals that can impact your family’s health.

Typical cleaning products are among the most toxic items in the home. That’s why each of our ingredients undergoes extensive safety and toxicological assessment.

We maximize the use of plant-based ingredients and enzyme-based technology to provide better, safer alternatives to traditional, chemical-based cleaners.

Many of our products are designed to replace single-use plastic and paper towels.

Some of our most popular microfiber products now contain up to 70% recycled materials.

Our Microfiber Recycling Program converts discarded microfiber into clean, renewable energy.

Our product packaging incorporates OceanBound Plastic, which helps reduce the amount of plastic entering the world’s oceans.

2) SUPERIOR MOP SYSTEM. Oh boy, am I a fan!

I don’t think a day goes by that I don’t whiz around my house with this mop in hand. If you use a Swiffer than you will be a huge fan of this product too. It’s so much better though. If I used a Swiffer as much as I use my Norwex mop, I think I could go through a box of wipes in no time at all. My house gets dirty with 2 dogs and a cat. I could clean all day long- if I wanted to. There are two mop heads to use. One dry for dust and dirt and one to use wet with just water. The dry mop picks up dust and hair but at the same time, it also picks up dirt, (as evident on what appears on the surface of the material). It’s far superior to sweeping, and in some ways, it gets up more dirt than a vacuum cleaner. Of course, I still vacuum, but I vacuum less because of this system! I’m always amazed at what this mop picks up, and a little shocked at the same time that so much “dirt” has accumulated in my house!!

3) Window Cloth: Get a streak-free shine every time! I love to clean, but windows, not so much. However, since I started using this Window Cloth, window cleaning is much more satisfying. No matter what I used in the past, Windex, vinegar and water, Newspapers, old cotton sheets, sunny day, cloudy day, you name it, my windows always had streaks. I can honestly say, with much less effort, my windows look so much better when I clean them with first the Envirocloth then buff with the Window Cloth.

Other items I use and love, to name a few…

EnviroScrub, All-Purpose Kitchen Cloth, Counter Cloths Made from 50% Recycled Materials, Kitchen Towels & Cloths, Cleaning Paste, EnviroWand® with Two-Sided Sleeve…

There are so many products to try. I don’t think there is one that I used and didn’t like.

I have made a concerted effort over the last several years to reduce the use of chemicals both internally and externally. With Norwex, I know I can still achieve a clean home without the use of harsh chemicals.

Now, add the recent pandemic. I have been a bit caught off guard not knowing what to do. I did break down and buy Clorox wipes when the pandemic ensued. I felt I had no choice. However, the CDC just changed its position on the spread of COVID 19 on surfaces and stated the virus is less likely to be transmitted via surface contact. The key is to wash your hands frequently and don’t touch your face. This is not to say that an EnviroCloth was not sufficient, it very well may be perfectly suited for such a task. I have little doubt of its ability to eliminate the virus, but the media has a way of creating caution, and with good reason, COVID 19 can be deadly! I will put the Clorox wipes away, and revert to a more suitable cleaning method for my household.

I would like to encourage you to learn more about the products Norwex has to offer. I hope you join me as I host a FaceBook event on Tuesday, May 26th.
