We are just over three weeks from celebrating my daughter's marriage to her love. A year of gradual wedding planning begins to intensify as time draws near. In the end, it will culminate in a weekend of celebration!

The celebration started a month ago when we had a bridal shower for Sarah. It was a fabulous evening at a magical location, The Reboli Center for Art and History. It created the perfect backdrop for such an event, especially since there are so many connections to the center.

The art of celebration has taken backstage during the recent pandemic and can lead to re-prioritizing. Some of us are a bit leary about gathering. Others can't wait to break away. And perhaps others have lost sight of the importance of being together with friends and family.

Through the years, when I attended various events, once the function ended, I never regretted being in attendance. The time together with friends and loved ones far outweighs any potential stress of actually going.

The sleepless nights caused by the never-ending list running through my brain will eventually end. Then, I will look back with much joy as I relive every moment of the wedding celebration!

So, let the celebration begin!

Join together, connect and share with another.

Celebrate the life we have and each other.
