Tidbit Tuesday

Tidbit Tuesday

Maybe it is time to use those saved mini-products!

The other day, I used the last bit of my nicely packaged body cream that I had sitting on a shelf. I decided, once and for all, I was going to use the multitude of minuscule lotions and such from visits to various hotels. If you’re like me, you probably have a bunch of these one-time-use samples tucked under your bathroom sink. When I pack to go on another trip, I usually don’t retrieve these mini-bottles since I know I'll be supplied with a new stock during my stay. Maybe I throw one or two in my bag, just in case, but for the most part they accumulate and remain unused. So why do I take them in the first place? I have to admit, it’s a bit silly! Maybe once this pandemic passes, we will all have less cluttered homes and our philosophy towards the unnecessary will be a bit different.

At the same time, I don’t want to make light of the suffering of many. Every day we hear more horror stories. It’s hard not to get depressed over the crisis we are in. This tidbit is just that. I little nugget of something, albeit very insignificant, that you can do to essentially use what you have instead of running to the store for something you may not need. We all need to limit our exposure to this horrible virus.

Please, take precautions and don’t go out unless you have to.

Don’t touch your face.

Wipe down surfaces, especially after items from the outside world enter your home.

Wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least twenty seconds.

And then, you can apply a new application of some fine hotel lotion! :)

Products:

The basket in the picture above, was part of a gift from my daughter, Sarah. The company is Connected Goods. “An empowering place to shop handmade products by global artisans. Beautiful, timeless designs crafted by loving hands of master creators.”

I guess that is why I save these mini-bottles. They are products that I really liked, and maybe now, you will try them too!!
